Our Story
RJN Care Solutions speaks to a way of working that’s gentle, flexible, and deeply human.
Our story is inspired by our lived experience of caring for our 27 year old son with severe leaning disability and physical disability and supporting Mum in maintaining her independence and wellbeing.
RJN Care Solutions is a small family run care company that was founded in 2025.
Our experiences have shaped the understanding of the challenges individuals and families face when accessing care. We at RJN Care Solutions want to make a difference and provide good care for those who need it.
Harry had always loved music and sounds. As a child with a severe learning disability, he'd spend hours listening to tunes, tapping, enjoying rhythms and music . Adulthood felt so different—his confidence faded, routines became rigid, and choices were often made for him, not with him.
As he connected with RJN Care Solutions, everything changed—but not overnight. The journey was slow, mindful, and built around Harry's pace. His PA didn’t hand him a plan—they worked with him to find out what would work for him delivered in the way that he felt most comfortable .
Together, they found a local music and movement group. In the first few months the session was just listening and creating a relationship with the facilitator. Following regular attendances and support Harry was encouraged to start leading rhythms with quiet pride and he had a facilitator who understood him . His care plan expanded with him, in his own time —adding digital help to book sessions, transport for performances, and emotional coaching and sensory skills for days when anxiety crept in.
Through RJN, Harry’s journey wasn’t prescribed—it was nurtured. And every beat, every step, was his own.
At 84, Lil had always prided herself on her independence. But after a series of health setbacks and increasing memory lapses, even simple tasks like booking appointments or remembering shopping essentials became overwhelming.
The family were supportive, but Lil didn’t want to lose control of her day-to-day life. That’s when RJN Care Solutions came alongside her to offer guidance and support through some of the challenges she was facing.
We introduced Lil to a daily diary and calendar system—colour-coded and designed around her routine. Staff visited daily to help her personalise it, adding gentle prompts and memory cues.
Digital support was integrated gradually, starting with a simplified tablet and mobile phone . RJN Care Solutions configured it just for her: with touch-friendly apps for appointments, reminders, and a shopping list of her favourite items in Tesco supermarket.
One of Lil’s favourite new tools was WhatsApp!! RJN Care Solutions helped her set it up and taught her to send messages, voice notes, and even video calls. Now she chats daily with old friends and lights up when she sees photos from grandchildren living abroad.
What truly empowered Lil was the blend of compassion and practical tools. RJN Care Solutions didn’t just “do for her”—they “did with her.” Her reminder system nudges her gently, and with our coaching, she’s initiating tasks herself.
Today, Lil continues to live independently—her days filled with purpose, routine, and connection and her support systems help to maintain that stability.
